AN IMPORTANT GUEST!

Limar Kumport Container Terminal hosted an important guest at the beginning of May: the Mediterranean Shipping Company's (MSC's) vessel M/V MSC Aniello… After docking at the terminal on the morning of May 4th 2002, the ship left again around noon of the following day, 5th May.

Measuring 260 metres long and with capacity of 4056 TEU, the ship is unique in being the largest container ship ever to dock at a Turkish port to date. The ship has a beam of 32.2 metres and draught of 13 metres…
